babies grow up in 4-5 days depending on there mood.
children grow up in 10-15 days depending on grades/mood

Sims children do NOT grow up in Sims1. Adult Sims do not age either. Sorry… you need Sims2 for that!

If you have Making Magic the child can make a potion that will grow them up to an adult. Otherwise children never grow up in Sims 1.
