black eye from a dog bite…?are u KIDDING me? u get BITE MARKS from a dog bite, not a FUCKIN BLACK EYE!

  2. lubermanl Says:

If i walked up and slapped your baby in the face because it wouldn’t shut the fuck up, that is perfectly ok?
    Oops, i mean my baby.
    Totally different situation, AMIRITE?

  3. epiphanyofreason8 Says:

yeah a dog bite caused a black eye yeah i bet thats ridicules the part with it being a difficult call sure but the black eye story is crap

  4. bushhater99 Says:

    @ChibiMiddleFinger
the average age for walking is 12 months, not 15. some walk as early as 10 months. obviously, you have no kids, which makes you such an expert on what is abuse. id love to see you after you have 3 or 4 kids on a candid camera slapping them silly after youve been up all nite feeding and changing and the 2 year old pokes your eye and then spills scalding coffee in your lap. enjoy your superior life! that flight attendant probably threw her baby in a dumpster on prom nite.

  5. hotwhire Says:

Dog bite my ass, always blame the dog. Dogs don’t give black eyes, they give you NO eyes.

  6. ChibiMiddleFinger Says:

The average age when a child starts walking is 15 months. Almost all children learn to walk by age two. That had nothing to do with being slapped.

It’s a different thing to slap a kid who’s old enough to know better, like a five-year-old or something. For a 13-month-old baby, though, it’s abusive.

  7. diasent Says:

@ChibiMiddleFinger I’ve been nipped by a dog that didn’t puncture skin, but left me with some bruising. As for child abuse, I doubt the baby was slapped that hard. It was probably a light slap, which was what happened when I acted up, or a spanking. a 1 year old is when they learn how to walk. I learned how to walk before i was 2.

  8. fullmetalcorset Says:

Cenk your wrong on this one.

  9. bushhater99 Says:

i usually find that people who know so much about how bad other people treat their kids dont have any fucking kids. does anna have any fucking kids? games goodmebad, do you have kids? have you ever slapped one? a 13 month old can walk and talk and chip your teeth with a headbutt. and the same assholes who glare at you in the checkout line if youre not buying your kid the pure sugar sucker that the grocery assholes put there for your kid to cry over will drop a dime on you if you swat the brat.

  10. popazz1 Says:

Ok,any abuse is totally wrong, that’s established. But perhaps the attendant may have dealt with the situation by quietly informing the mother that she would be monitored throughout the remainder of the flight.Removing the child to the back of the plane may well have been,to the child,as traumatic. After all,the attendant would be a stranger to the child. They were in the air,the mother wasn’t going anywhere!

  11. ChibiMiddleFinger Says:

A black eye from a dog bite? Wouldn’t a dog bite result in a puncture wound, not a black eye? That’s obviously a lie.

Plus, the kid is thirteen months old. That’s still a BABY. If you see someone slap a baby across the face, it’s time to intervene. I think the flight attendant did the right thing. There’s a line between disciplinarian and abusive, and that lady crossed it.

@GamesGoodMeBad (5) *Sorry, my bad, totally just fucked up the comment order*

    2. there is an extremely pernicious attitude in society (esp. American) that the government stepping in and telling you how to raise your child is abominable to both you and the child, but if you abuse your own position of authority over them then you’re a victim of the criticism about it

  13. synchronium24 Says:

@GamesGoodMeBad (4) 3. vis a vis #2, “in no other situation would the womans behavior have been acceptable”

So I can say loudly “fuck that bitch,” I just think the specific action taken needs more scrutiny (and may ultimately have been right).

  14. synchronium24 Says:

@GamesGoodMeBad (3) But if the parent isn’t causing serious harm to the child, it is actually quite authoritarian to take the child away. You can supervise the situation to make sure they don’t start wailing on the child or at least let her know a watchful eye is upon her.

Now what i will agree with you on:
    1. her story was clearly bullshit to cover up her abuse

  15. synchronium24 Says:

@GamesGoodMeBad (2) But if the parent isn’t causing serious harm to the child, it is actually quite authoritarian to take the child away. You can supervise the situation to make sure they don’t start wailing on the child or at least let her know a watchful eye is upon her.

  16. synchronium24 Says:

@GamesGoodMeBad I agree with the overall sentiment of this comment, but I’m still very split as to whether she should have taken the baby away. Complete inaction would be unacceptable, but action can appear on a spectrum rather than as a binary choice. I think calling the popo to have an “extensive interview” with the parents was absolutely necessary. Gets the parents scared enough to improve their shit, so that child protective services doesn’t come.

  17. OktoberSunset Says:

It’s funny how when we hear about a man beating his wife, there is universal outrage, but when it is a kid getting beaten, people think that is ok. What kind of fucked up logic is it that physical violence is ok, if it is directed at a child?

  18. emmyjo720 Says:

@H4lfTruths How is smacking a child going to stop it from crying? Surely it will start a bigger tanturm.

  19. tommydangerous27 Says:

americansa are over shooting iraqi kids in the face everyday!!! america an ur british cohorts…..U SUCK!

  20. gatskillz Says:

jr is totally right. cenk tell me what culture thinks its ok to hit a 1 year old.

and if your kids act out, well maybe you should have fucking raised them right… dumbass cocksocker (not you cenk, all though you can be narrowminded and dumb at times ; )

  21. gatskillz Says:

cenk, you pussy. at least you shout at the parent and tell them off.

  22. xebec1958 Says:

slapping anyone in the face is wrong, at any age!

  23. jeremytay273 Says:

    Dog bite. ?

  24. phinny5608 Says:

They kept not mentioning the black eye. Isn’t that the sort of thing teachers are trained to look for in schools? And those kids are much older than this one was.

  25. hardforatard Says:

@AWSH17 that must have been the day you became a RETARD.
