Dragon’s Den – Teach My toddler

April 29, 2011 :: Posted by - :: Category - Toddler

Dragon’s Den is a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) production of Sony’s original concept which consists of entrepreneurs pitching their ideas in order to secure investment finance from business experts — the “Dragons”. The show is inspiring, very entertaining and considering the economic climate we’re facing, provides a wonderful venue to encourage VC funding and get the moneys flowing again. I would like to table an offer –
    I am willing to put up half of the start-up capital to team up and pig-roast Diane Buckner. I’m looking for someone to match me – You can work up front & I will work dilligently in the back. Anyone in on this action?

    @blondecat666 When I started kindergarten just under 30 years ago it was expected that kids would have some level of reading ability. We still went through the ‘A is for apple’ business so we could learn to understand the different accents in the class. Parents not teaching their kids to read is a cop out, reading to/teaching kids to read is an important bonding experience. If kids are bored in their class because some parents are lazy, change classes or schools, or have them bumped up a grade.

    It’s absolute twaddle that a parent should delay a child’s development because they fear their methods might not be identical to those used in schools. Any kid who goes to school already knowing how to read has an enormous advantage, regardless of the method. Only a post literate who doesn’t value reading would disagree. It’s increasingly the case that schools do not answer a kid’s academic needs, and only negligent parents ignore this. It’s established that the real difference is made at home.

    @BeethovenIsGod Absolutely agree. Kids who learn to read/write before they go to school either are bored or getting confused by the different methods the parents were using versus school. Then again (unfortunately) there are many ‘homeschooling’ parents are in the US who don’t use ANY methods or reference books, apart from the Bible…

    I have a current Invention that puts all of this in one and makes the child want to spell and read,I also know there is a shrinking birth rate and single-moms use nannies and day care. My system works from the home and you don’t buy a Kit from a store,it’s included in my product.

    i think its stupid when they use kids to help them.

    besides the fact that the kids just look plain confused 99 .9 percent of the time

    i thinks its kinda like a wack guilt trip tactic or somthing

    This is absolute rubbish. How can she be an authority to teach anything without being an educated authority. She can do this because she squeezed a human out of her vagina?
    Anyone can’t just do anything!
