I know odd question, i am not trying to be weird, but if you delivered or if someone delivers a micro premie for example is labor still painful? i know the contractions would be but what about the passage through the canal.
I was reading about micro premies that were delivered at under 24 weeks that were like 8 inches long and less than a pound, so with something THAT tiny i had to wonder how labor was.

The baby coming out is not the painful part, the contractions are what causes the pain. So yes, it hurts no matter the size of the baby. It burns when the baby actually delivers.

There really is no average on when a baby cries. It’s usually when a baby is hungry, uncomfortable (full diaper), or tired. It depends on the child. Some babies eat less, and sleep less. Some babies eat more, and sleep more.

I am wondering this because i am due July 6, and i don’t know if i should buy newborn summer clothes, which say 5-8 lbs or 0-3 month summer clothes that say 8-12 lbs. I can’t predict how big my baby is going to be.
How quick does a newborn outgrow the newborn clothes?

For the first little while, you will probably keep your baby in comfy pj’s. I’d suggest buying a couple of 0-3 months and a couple of 3-6 months). Assuming you don’t want to spend alot of money try Target, Mervyns or Khols.

Since he/she won’t be born until July, wait until then to buy clothes as they start going on sale around that time.
